Internal Medicine Residency Program
Thank you for your interest in the Stillwater Medical Internal Medicine Residency Program! Our program is fully accredited and is accepting five residents to begin our PGY-1.

Applying to the Program
Applicants will be considered only with the completion of an application through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) for the upcoming application year. Completed applications are reviewed and candidates are notified when there is sufficient information to offer an interview. Interview days are granted to qualified candidates. Applications must include:
- MyEras application
- Medical school transcript
- Three letters of recommendation
- Personal Statement
- USMLE or COMPLEX-USA transcripts
- We participate in the NRMP match
Current seniors or graduates of an LCME-approved medical school (or osteopathic equivalent) or an international graduate with a valid ECFMG certificate and valid visa or permanent resident status are eligible to apply. International medical graduates are sponsored on J-1 visas. Applicants must be within five years of completion of medical school to be considered for a position. All appointments for residency are subject to the ability to obtain an unrestricted Oklahoma medical license.
Audition Rotations
Stillwater Medical only accepts student requests via myClinicalExchange (MCE). To create an account and request student rotations, go to myclinicalexchange.com. Please note that a fee will be incurred after SMC approval of the student request for hours. This fee is paid to MCE for their services.
Please note on your request that you are asking for an audition rotation with the Stillwater Medical Residents.
Once your request has been made, your request will be forwarded to the Residency Program coordinator to review. An email will be sent to the student with an approval or denial of their request.
